More Than 40 Percent Of Baldur's Gate 3 Players Are Using Mods

Streaming has become quite a lucrative gig; while it can be incredibly difficult to rise to the top of sites like Twitch and YouTube, those who’ve managed it have reaped a reward more beautiful than anyone would have thought possible when those platforms were first launched. A decade ago, the concept of playing games for the enjoyment of others was still in its infancy, and broadband speeds by-and-large weren’t fast enough to make streaming a reliable thing. Times, of course, have changed, and some of the most prolific streamers have net worths that rival those of more conventional celebrities.
The advent of streaming has also been bolstered by the concept of the viral video game. It’s tough for most dedicated content producers to draw audiences merely by playing whichever game they choose, though a few variety streamers have managed to make names for themselves in the past. Typically, streamers attain fame on the backs of hugely popular games like Minecraft, Dota 2, or League of Legends. Microsoft’s Halo franchise was among the first to gain this sort of extreme internet fame, and Epic Games’ Fortnite bears that torch today.
Though Twitch fame can often be fleeting, there’s a ton of money to be made for those who play their cards right. With all of that in mind, here’s a list of twenty-five of the richest streamers right now (along with how much they are estimated to be worth.)
25 Bazza Gazza ($90,000)

Though far from a household name, Australian YouTuber Bazza Gazza has managed to amass slightly less than three quarters of a million subscribers on YouTube since he launched his channel in 2015. With a cutesy kangaroo avatar and a propensity for Overwatch and Fortnite memes, he doesn’t take himself nearly as seriously as some other professional content creators and streamers. He primarily plays first person shooters, though some of his most popular videos are centered around the VR Chat phenomenon. With an estimated net worth of $90,000, Bazza Gazza is proof that streamers don’t have to have millions upon millions of followers to start raking in the cash.
24 KaceyTron ($200,000)

KaceyTron is an American YouTuber and Twitch Streamer who got her start back in 2013. Though she’s produced content involving a variety of different games and even hosted a series of IRL streams, KaceyTron is primarily known for MOBAs like League of Legends, as well as Blizzard’s ever-popular MMO World of Warcraft. Though it’s difficult to exactly pinpoint her net worth, she is estimated to have netted around $200,000 through her streams. Born in 1992, she’s actually a bit older than most of the current Twitch crowd, and, while a lot of streamers from the older days of the platform have since hung it up, she’s still an active contributor to the scene.
23 KittyPlays ($300,000)

KittyPlays ranks among the most notable female Twitch streamers who focus primarily on games. While those who frequent the site often complain about certain users emphasizing aspects of their being other than their personalities, KittyPlays always seems dedicated to her gameplay and deserves the amount of recognition she has garnered. With somewhere around a million followers on the platform, she is most recognize for her Fortnite and CS:GO gameplay, though she’s dipped her toes in a variety of different genres in the past. According to a 2018 Upfluence article, KittyPlays has an approximate net worth of $300,000, which is indicative of her dedication to her gig as a streamer.
22 Forsen ($400,000)

Sebastian Fors— better known by his online alias of Forsen— is a Swedish streamer primarily known for his involvement in highly-competitive games like StarCraft II and Hearthstone. Though he may seem less influential than some common Twitch names, an emote of the streamer’s face became the most used of the platforms hundreds of emotes in the month of January in 2018. He has recently found himself caught in hot water after announcing that he would focus entirely on Hearthstone, and fans have were quick to accuse him of kowtowing to the game’s publisher. Forsen is estimated to have a net worth of around $400,000, which is likely an incredible amount for a dedicated Hearthstone streamer in 2019.
21 Trick2G ($500,000~)

Trick2G is one of Twitch’s most notable MOBA players. A professional League of Legends participant, streamer Tim Foley is remembered primarily for his frequent dissatisfaction with his teammates and for conducting almost unfathomably long streams. At the peak of his career, he was known to conduct streams which ran in excess of twelve hours. Any game, no matter how enthralling, gets old well before that mark, and his dedication to League is nothing short of amazing. Roughly estimated to have a net worth of somewhere around half a million dollars, Trick2G was among the first to turn competitive League of Legends play into a bona fide career.
20 DizzyKitten ($600,000)

Though she got her start playing games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive and is dazzlingly good at Super Hexagon, the Arkansas native DizzyKitten doesn’t do all that much game-related streaming these days. Now, she’s primarily known for her various ASMR performances and cosplays, subjects which are often thought to be tangentially related to the internet’s gaming community. There are quite a few ASMR-centric YouTubers and streamers out there, but DizzyKitten is perhaps one of the most notable. It allegedly pays the bills, as well— estimations suggest that she has a net worth of around $600,000. We should think of it as a testament to her ear-whispering prowess.
19 Dakotaz ($650,000)

Dakotaz— also known as Brett Hoffman— is among the new breed of streamers primarily famous for their Fortnite content. An avid battle royale player, Dakotaz is also notable for his H1Z1 and The Forest content. He’s also a major player in the League of Legends world and an active member of the game’s competitive scene. A member of Team Solomid, it’s safe to say that he’s been honing his skills for quite some time before he made it to the Twitch’s most-watched list. Though he doesn’t quite have the pull of someone like Ninja, he reportedly boasts a net worth of around $650,000. That sum probably didn’t come entirely from streaming, but he’s definitely done well for himself in the saturated gaming world.
18 Pokimane ($900,000)

Streaming from Canada but tracing her origins to Morocco, Imane Anys— often recognized by her Twitch alias Pokimane— made a name for herself after becoming prominent in the League of Legends community. Though she’s staked a claim to the game’s competitive scene, she is more widely known for her cosplay and IRL/non-gaming streams. While she seems to have strayed away from gaming recently, that hasn’t hurt her revenue stream in any way, and she has been estimated to have a net worth of nearly $900,000. Pokimane ranks among some of the most notorious female streamers on Twitch, and most gamers familiar with the platform have likely caught at least a few minutes of one of her streams in the past.
17 Dyrus ($1,000,000~)

Also known as Marcus Hill, the Hawaiian-born Dyrus is among the most prominent ex-MLG League of Legends players still streaming on Twitch. Though he retired from the scene in 2015, he has built an incredible reputation for himself and is known for being among the top players associated with Delta Fox. One of only two players worldwide able to qualify for the first five League world champion tournaments consecutively, Dyrus now streams almost daily and continues to display his love for MOBAs and RTS games. What’s more, he has been estimated to have amassed a net worth of nearly one million dollars, a not-insignificant chunk of that coming from League winnings.
16 TSM_Myth ($1,000,000~)

Born in 1999, TSM_Myth is one of the youngest streamers to attain over four million followers on Twitch. One of the first to embrace Epic Games’ Fortnite when it launched in mid-2017, Ali Kabbani has emerged as one of the most prominent players in the community. The current leader of Team Solomid, he’s earned quite a bit of money and prestige thanks to his involvement in various gaming-related tournaments. While not quite the top Fortnite player in the world, TSM_Myth managed to an estimated net worth of around one million dollars before he hit the age of twenty. That’s an accomplishment very few can claim, and he’s managed it thanks to his affable personality and incredible battle royale skill.
15 Sodapoppin ($1,000,000~)

One of the oldest and most well-respected streamers on the platform, Sodapoppin made a name for himself through is World of Warcraft streams which took place quite a few years ago. Since then, he’s amassed over seven thousand subs and was revealed to have made a cool $230,000 in just a few short months. All up, his total net worth is speculated to be somewhere around one million dollars— a figure which he’s definitely earned. At one point in 2014, Sodapoppin was the number ranked WoW player, and his extensive live stream coverage of his progress made him a universally-recognized name among MMO fans.
14 DrLupo ($1,000,000)

A streamer from the midwestern United States, DrLupo first started out as a Destiny content creator before eventually moving over to H1Z1 when it was at its peak. Since then, he has become a major influence in the realms of PUBG and Fortnite, and his dual streams with fellow battle royale legend Ninja have brought him an incredible amount of notoriety. Though he doesn’t stick exclusively to Fortnite, most of his content involves competitive first and third person shooter titles. With an estimated net worth of one million dollars, he’s much more successful than the average streamer can expect to be.
13 Lirik ($1,000,000+)

Lirik, an American Twitch streamer by the name of Saqib Zahid, is among some of the platforms oldest recurring streamers, having started his channel all the way back in 2011 before the site gained major mainstream prominence. Primarily recognized for playing League of Legends and World of Warcraft, Lirik has a record of streaming for more than ten hours per day on some occasions, and his efforts have allowed him to secure some pretty lucrative sponsorships. Discord, the networking and chat service, is his most notable, and he’s estimated to have a net worth of somewhere north of one million dollars. That may sound like a lot, but Zahid has definitely put the time in, and it’s crazy to think that he’ll be coming up on his ten year anniversary in two years.
12 Reckful ($1.5 Mil)

Byron Berstein, or Reckful, as he’s known on Twitch, gained popularity after making the rounds as a competitive World of Warcraft player when the game was at its most popular. Competing in multiple tournaments and spending some time as an eSports caster, he eventually transitioned from WoW to Blizzard’s popular card game Hearthstone. This was controversial to most fans, as he more or less turned his back on what originally made him famous. That said, Reckful is still a notable streamer with a supposed net worth of $1.5 million. Hearthstone is waning in popularity these days, and he could eventually return to what he knows best or transition into something else entirely. Either way, he’s guaranteed to make money doing it.
11 MOONMOON_OW ($1.7 Mil)

Taking his name from an aged internet meme, MOONMOON_OW is, as can be expected from his moniker, an Overwatch streamer first and foremost. Tying his popularity to the emergence of Blizzard’s now-iconic hero shooter, he was one of the pre-eminent streamers during the game’s debut. Though he has since become something of a variety streamer and dabbled in games like Grand Theft Auto V and Skyrim, he remains well known for his contributions to the game’s community, as well as his affinity for Widowmaker. It’s hard to say exactly what he makes through streaming, but recent estimates have put his net worth at somewhere around $1.7 million.
10 NightBlue3 ($2.5 Mil)

Another member of Team Solomid, NightBlue3 is another streamer with an extensive League of Legends history. The number one ranked Jungler in North America, he’s about as dedicated to the game as they come. With an estimated net worth of around $2.5 million, his time spent in-game has definitely paid off. According to the schedule posted on Twitch, he makes streaming a priority, as he takes his gaming sessions to the internet just about every day of the week. Those who aren’t interested in League probably aren’t going to be avid fans of NightBlue3, but those who consider it an obsession will absolutely know who he is.
9 Shroud ($3,000,000~)

California based streamer Shroud has made waves in recent months thanks to his activity in the competitive FPS scene. Having earned his stripes in CS:GO competitions, Michael Grzesiek has earned a place beside DrDisrespect and Ninja as one of the most notorious online personalities of this gaming generation. Though he isn’t quite as involved in the Counter Strike community as he once was, his presence in the eSports world can still be felt. Estimated to be worth nearly $3 million, most Twitch users who frequent games like Apex Legends or Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will at least recognize this name.
8 DrDisrespect ($3 Mil - $4 Mil)

Guy Beahm— now universally known as DrDisrespect— first gained notoriety in the late 2000s after developing his alpha male character and taking to games like Halo 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He quit YouTube in 2011 to pursue a career as a level designer with Sledgehammer Games and had a hand in developing some of the multiplayer maps in games like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. After resurfacing on Twitch five years after his initial departure, DrDisrespect has become one of the most recognizable streamers in the competitive FPS space today. Famous for his distinctive look and iconic mustache, those even mildly interested in popular multiplayer FPS titles should know to look out for those sunglasses.
7 Imaqtpie ($4,000,000~)

Imaqtpie is a Floridian streamer who cut his teeth in the early days of competitive League of Legends. Participating with teams like Dignitas, Delta Fox, and Oh God Bears, he eventually turned streaming into his main project, a platform on which he appears to be fairly prolific. Much like some of the aforementioned streamers on this list, he seems to more or less stick to League without much deviation and broadcasts his in-game antics fairly regularly. His net worth has never explicitly been stated, though estimates have placed it as high as nearly $4 million. Claiming a history to which few others could compare, tons of veteran players and community members are likely quite familiar with the Imaqtipie name (though it admittedly sounds like a name someone like Pokimane should have adopted.)
6 Syndicate ($3,000,000+)

OG Call of Duty YouTuber Syndicate isn’t exactly a dedicated streamer, though he does appear on platforms like Twitch regularly enough. Originally known for his Black Ops zombies content in the early 2010s, Tom Cassell eventually broadened his horizons and considerably expanded his fan base. He found himself in a bit of legal trouble in 2016 when it was discovered that he was actually the co-owner of a site which he frequently used to be Counter Strike: Global Offensive skins. That controversy hasn’t made an impact on his bottom line, though, as, in 2017, he was estimated to have been worth around $3 million. Though his profile perhaps isn’t quite what it used to be, Syndicate is still a fairly recognizable name among Call of Duty fans.
