Asylum Division Monthly Statistics Report. Fiscal Year 2024. August 2024 (XLSX, 70.46 KB)
Contains information on Applications for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal for petitioners who use Form I-589 and on Screening Referrals for Credible Fear and Reasonable Fear. It displays the number of applications and screening referrals received, completed, pending, interview or screening outcomes, and completion outcomes by month during the Reporting Fiscal Year. This report contains the most up to date data; prior reports are located on the USCIS archive page.

This report is produced in response to the direction set forth in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, Joint Explanatory Statement (H. R. 2471 / P.L. 117-103). This report contains the number of forms received, processed, approved, denied, and pending by month, along with the average processing time and the number of forms pending for more than six months, for each of the following: (1) form I–130 (Petition for Alien Relative); (2) form I–360 (Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant); (3) form I–485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), delineated by application type or filing category; (4) form I–751 (Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence); (5) form N–400 (Application for Naturalization); and (6) form I–765 (Employment Authorization Document).

Inventory report intended to provide information about the number of pending Forms I-485 in the employment-based preference categories. The report provides our estimate of how many Forms I-485 we have in our inventory for each employment-based preference category, by selected country of chargeability, and by the month and year of the estimated priority date. A noncitizen with a pending adjustment of status application can use the report to estimate how many Forms I-485 we have in our inventory with earlier priority dates for their employment-based preference category and country of chargeability.
