Back from Honolulu

Postby biggs » Mon Dec 14, 2009 12:56 am

Got back from Honolulu last week and forgot to post.

I managed to get around town on a Sym Jet Euro 50 that I rented from Adventure Rentals on Kuhio Ave.

Right away I noticed the difference between a Sym and a European Scooter, not much speed on the flats (30 MPH max!) and the variator was kind of touchy.

Still, having the warm air blowing around me, enjoying the sun, wave/nod at other riders, it was a great ride.

It's definitely the best way to find things you never managed to see on previous trips.

Thanks for the correction.. I couldn't see the model on it because the last few riders dropped it.

It was fun though

Im sure it was still factory restricted...the local Taiwanese scooters have no restrictions and go 70kph out of the box for 50cc
